TEDxKatoomba Ticketing Terms and Conditions
For all ticket buyers:

In these Terms, “you” means the individual ticket purchaser accessing the TEDxKatoomba event {“the Event”) (an event produced by TEDx Blue Mountains Inc, (ABN 28208549257) .

It is important that you read these Terms and the Privacy Policy carefully before you attend the Event, or access Content (as defined below). These Terms together with the Privacy Policy form a legally binding agreement between you and TEDx Blue Mountains Inc. If you do not agree to any of these Terms or the Privacy Policy, please do not access or cease to attend. Furthermore, you may not attend the Event and may not accept the Terms unless you are 16 years of age or over.

When you access the Event you may have access to services provided by companies outside TEDx Blue Mountains Inc(“Third Party Services”). The Event and TEDx Blue Mountains Inc are not responsible for Third Party Services and your use of Third Party Services shall be governed by the applicable terms and conditions of such Third Party Services.

Discounts and special ticket offers are subject to availability.

Unless otherwise stated, ticket prices include booking fees and GST. All orders will include a booking fee. For any questions, concerns or feedback please contact: tedxkatoomba@gmail.com

All sales are final. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged after purchase except as outlined in the Code of Practice for the Ticketing of Live Entertainment Events in Australia (available on the Live Performance Australia website) or under COVID restrictions as set out in clause 29.

The Event program details are correct at time of publication but are subject to change where necessary and without notice.

Tickets may not, without the prior consent from TEDx Blue Mountains Inc, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is sold in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.

While we believe in freedom of speech, any political affiliations or views expressed by artists or speakers participating in, or sponsoring, TEDx Blue Mountains Inc are not necessarily representative of those of the Event, TEDx Blue Mountains Inc or their staff or any partners of the Event or TEDx Blue Mountains Inc.

TEDx Blue Mountains Inc may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time and will post variations at tedxkatoomba.com. By making a purchase from TEDx Blue Mountains Inc you agree to any standing variations to Terms and Conditions present on the TEDxKatoomba website, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions in effect at the time of purchase.

TEDx Blue Mountains Inc is bound by the National Privacy principles under the Privacy Act 1988. TEDx Blue Mountains Inc holds personal information for the purposes of sending information about TEDxKatoomba events.

For live audience members

TEDx Blue Mountains Inc events are guided by NSW Health advice protocols for vaccinations, mask wearing and isolation.

Ticket sales are final.

Tickets are sold in line with Live Performance Australia guidelines (liveperformance.com.au). TEDx Blue Mountains Inc will offer a refund if the performance is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated due to COVID. Refunds and exchanges are not offered for change of mind or circumstance.

This event is live streamed, you may be photographed or filmed while attending. Please notify Front of House staff on site prior to the start if you require a seat that will not be recorded.
Special Conditions relating to COVID-19

Please stay at home if you are unwell or pose a risk to others. If you are displaying any of the COVID-19 symptoms as identified by NSW Health (such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, sneezing), you may be refused entry to minimise the risk to others.

If a ticket holder can no longer attend the Event to the circumstances referred to in the above or if you have tested positive or are awaiting results on a PCR test, please contact tedxkatoomba@gmail.com no later than 3 hours before the scheduled start of the Event in order to enquire about flexible ticket options. Options are not available to all ticket holders.

We reserve the right to request further information regarding the circumstances in point 1 which apply to the affected ticket holder.

TEDx Blue Mountains Inc events are seated at capacity suggested under current public health order guidelines and in line with the venue's guidelines. Please remain in your seat and face the stage while seated. Some guests may need to pass you within a row when taking their seats. It is unallocated seating.
