1. Applications to speak at TEDxKatoomba 2023 will only be accepted by completing the submission form on the TEDxKatoomba website.

2. Applications are open to the local Blue Mountains community and all residents of Australia.

3. Closing date for all applications is 31 March 2023.

4. All applicants must read and accept the TEDx speaker guidelines and requirements before applying.

5. Only one submission per applicant accepted. 

6. Applicants may be required to undertake further public speaking training and coaching by their own means to ensure their suitability to the TEDx format  in order to progress further in the selection process of TEDxKatoomba 2023.

7. Selected speakers must arrange and pay all expenses incurred including accommodation if travelling from interstate when attending the in-person event in Katoomba, Blue Mountains NSW 2790.

8. Applicants must agree that if successfully accepted, their inclusion on the TEDxKatoomba program will not be a paid role and is completely voluntary. 

9. Selected speakers' talks will be filmed on the day of the event and possibly live webcasted; final talks will be video edited according to the TEDx format to be uploaded on the the TEDx YouTube channel and website.

10. Applicants will be contacted by the TEDxKatoomba curator during the application period if their idea needs to be further discussed.

11. Selected speakers will be notified by email and/or phone by 1 May if their application is successful.

12. Acceptance or otherwise is at the discretion of the TEDxKatoomba curator and program committee whose decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
