The team is made up of individuals inspired by TED’s philosophy and who have all had diverse careers. Together they bring a wealth of experience to support an event that gives individuals a rare opportunity to unleash “ideas worth spreading” and connect them to a global audience.
Niall Clerkin Licensee & Curator
Niall is an experienced leader and coach with interests across a diverse range of topics including Workplace Culture, Productivity & Mental Health.
​
His seminars and speaking engagements help teams step back from burnout and rebuild for success. Niall is a qualified workshop facilitator, and NLP practitioner; He studied Strategy Execution at Melbourne Business School, Social Research at University of Limerick (Ireland) and HR at Dundalk Institute of Technology (Ireland).
Personally he is influenced by Stoic Philosophy and believes deeply in the power of self improvement to transform lives.
Wei Clerkin Licensee & Co-Organiser
Wei has worked in book publishing and been a Marketing and Campaign Manager for multiple Sydney events including talks festivals Festival of Dangerous Ideas (FODI) and All About Women.
She was part of the team at The Ethics Centre to shift a cancelled in-person FODI event to a digital program during COVID-19 in 2020. She did a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English & Psychology and followed up with a Masters of Arts (English) at University of Sydney. She is an eternal optimist who enjoys making things and getting to know people better.
Jess Lewis Graphic Designer
Passionate about art, design, human connection and provocative conversation, Jess Lewis is an experienced marketer, content creator and graphic designer. She has a history of working in events, non-for-profits, galleries and bookstores.
She holds a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications at UTS (Hons) and a Master of Art at UNSW.
Krystyna Clarke Event Manager
Krystyna has an extensive career in the production of live events, film/television and conferences in Australia and USA. Highlights include John Denver’s Choices for The Future Symposiums and Youth Summits at the State of The World Forums hosted by Mikhail Gorbachev, events that showcased leading edge thinkers from around the world. She is passionate about the exploration of new ideas and holds a Bachelor of Social Work (Hons) from UNSW.
Rebecca Blake Associate Producer
Rebecca is a producer, director and theatre maker. As well as being an Artistic Associate and board member with Kings Cross Theatre, Rebecca has worked on a number of independent and main stage productions in Sydney, Bolivia and London and is a graduate of Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor in Communication (Theatre/Media).
